Metalac tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices end down


BELGRADE (Serbia), September 17 (SeeNews) – Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.

A total of 540 Metalac shares changed hands in turnover of 1.0 million dinars. Metalac closed flat at 1,900 dinars.

The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.15% at 689.21 points.

No blue-chip index members closed the session up on Thursday.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.19% at 1,495.58.

The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 2.2 million dinars ($22,100/18,700 euro) on Thursday, down from 4.2 million dinars on Wednesday, as 43 transactions were carried out.

Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 558,700 dinars.
